The camera is allegedly called the ZV1 and looking at the leaked images we can definitely tell it’s meant for V-loggers. Fully articulated screen, huge record button, built-in microphone, 4k recording, and even a tally light.
Nokishita, who got his hands of the high-res product photos, gives us a fair idea of what Sony has packed in ZV1.
Also the media text leaked, pretty much has all the information regarding ZV1.
Some of the keys features include:
- 20.1MP CMOS Sensor, which is capable of shooting 4k videos.
- 24-70mm (equivalent) F1.8-2.8 zoom lens
- 3-inch vari-angle LCD screen with recording lamp
- Directional 3-capsule Microphone
- AI-based subject recognition technology to detect eye information in real-time.
- Bokeh Switch function on C1 that creates a “blurred background effect.

Ya I know what you guys are thinking there’s no more surprise element, but we still don’t know at what fps ZV1 shoots 4k, we don’t know about slow-motion capabilities and of course pricing of ZV1.
We will find all of these on 26th May. Cheers.
